Packaging

As the Brand MessengerTM, the packaging is a key vehicle of the brand experience. It is the very object that has the power to turn the ordinary into something extraordinary. It can create desire and deliver brand cachet. Through our creative thinking process we generate compelling ideas, ideas that are insistent, ideas that make a difference, create a memory or change a behaviour. Packaging Design
Packaging can be divided into two distinct parts: structural and surface graphics. These two can be further divided into form and function, materials and finishes, branding and typography, imagery and colour. Neither part can be created in isolation, it is a symbiotic relationship. Cardboard Engineering & Knifeline Creation
With all of our packaging solutions we look to minimise materials and create production efficiencies and savings. When working on existing ranges, often knifeline rationalisation and improvement can dramatically reduce material wastage and improve freight costs, merchandising and storage.

At Depot, we believe the details make the difference. Our tailored production process begins at the outset of a project, we leave nothing to chance. We experiment and learn and bring our insights into new projects. To deliver compelling and responsible solutions, we asses materials, production and manufacturing processes to ensure practicality, economic viability and sustainability.
Procurement
We can assist to procure product from our selected partners to evaluate existing solutions or opportunities for your brand. We can evaluate existing product ranges, streamlining to get greater efficiencies and cost savings and provide a procurement rulebook to assist you as your brand and needs grow.
Art Direction / Photography
To produce smooth running, cost-effective photo shoots we work closely with stylists, cooks, digital techs, location teams and photographers. We assemble teams and Art Direct shoots to guide the creative process for branding, packaging and digital content.
Illustration
Our founder Angela, is also our resident illustrator. From sketching in ideation workshops to textile design and invitation calligraphy she can advise on the creation of bespoke illustrative assets to suit your specific needs.
Artwork
We produce unique knifelines and print-ready artwork with accuracy and consistency. We are well versed in the technical complexities of production across different printing processes and substrates. We look for ways to provide production value for you through knifeline rationalisation assessing in-store shelf constraints or freight limitations.
3D Digital Renders
The production of photo-realistic 3D renders work to assist you sell in your brand idea to investors or start a digital social media campaign ahead of production or create a library of brand assets.
Print Management
Applying our print knowledge and working with our select suppliers provides you with assurance, efficiency and cost benefits across packaging and print collateral.
